18.05.2011 Award Ceremony for the Winners of the SMC Essay Contest 2011

We are proud to present the winners of the SMC Essay Contest 2011 "Justice and Taxation", who have been awarded at SMC.

It is with great pleasure that SMC announces the winners of the SMC Open Essay Contest.

1^st winner: Myles E. Mangram, SMC University (€ 5,000 cash award)
2^nd winner: Will Conquer, Université Paris II (€ 2,500 cash award)
3^rd winner: Shpend Baljija, SMC University (€ 1,500 cash award)
1^st runner up: Mathias Royce, SMC University (€ 500 cash award)
2^nd runner up: Rosamaria Bitetti, LUISS Rome (€ 500 cash award)


We thank all participants for their entries and for the patience they showed during the last days when the jury were to come to a decision. We hope that those who were not among the winners look forward to future contests, and we trust that they join us in complementing the winners on their success.

 

The awards have been handed over by Prof. Hardy Bouillon and Prof. Alvin Rabushka.
