Dr Martin Oluba has a strong passion and excellent skills for economic and financial analysis/advice as well as management strategy design and implementation. Some of his many consulting experiences cut across several sectors of the Nigerian economy and comprise many engagements with the World Bank, European Commission (SRIP), CIDA, DFID, UNIFEM, the National Assembly, Nigeria’s National Planning Commission, Federal Ministries, many states and local governments as well as leading private organizations. In addition to these assignments, Martin has been responsible for setting up and managing processes and structures for the delivery of high quality strategic advice and realization of overall corporate vision.

Accordingly, he had responsibility for initiating, setting-up and briefly leading two capital market firms: Platinum Capital Limited: a capital market subsidiary of Platinum Bank and Lombard Assets Management limited before establishing and running Strategic Capital Alliance limited: a research based consulting outfit. Prior to these positions, he worked with Hamilton Hammer & Co. as a senior investment analyst with responsibility for securities forecasting; ReStraL Consulting limited as team leader, research and strategy; as well as in BGL limited where he was the group head, research and strategy. He also worked as a research fellow at the Lagos Business School between 1996-97.

Dr. Oluba is trained as an economist and possesses two doctoral degrees: a PhD (Macroeconomic Conditions and Investment Response) from ESEADE University Institute, Argentina and a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) from the Swiss Management Center, Switzerland.
