EBL – EBook Library

In collaboration with leading university and research libraries and major academic publishers, eBooks Corporation recently launched Ebook Library (EBL), a new ebook lending platform that delivers a rapidly expanding catalog of ebooks to academic and research libraries.

EBL aims to extend digital lending capabilities, enable greater availability of books to greater number of students.

EBL draws on extensive experience in print and digital publishing, and on advice from respected members of the library, publishing and technology communities. SSRN – Social Science Research Network

Social Science Research Network (SSRN) is a world wide collaborative of over 800 leading scholars that is devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of social science research. It is composed of a number of specialized research networks in each of the social sciences. Each of SSRN’s networks encourages the early distribution of research results by reviewing and distributing submitted abstracts and by soliciting abstracts of top quality research papers around the world. The Networks encourage readers to communicate directly with other subscribers concerning their own and other’s research. Through its email abstracting journals it currently reach over 163,000 people in approximately 70 different countries.

SSRN’s email abstracting journals cover over 400 different subject areas. The Abstract Database contains information on well over 226,600 scholarly working papers and forthcoming papers. The Electronic Paper collection currently contains over 185,500 downloadable electronic documents in Adobe Acrobat pdf format. SSRN users are downloading over 650,000 full text papers each month. SSRN supports the Open Access movement by providing free submissions to and downloads from the SSRN eLibrary.
